Eligibility to become a member
- The person should be
- (a) Native of Kumaun region
- (b) Of 18 years of age
- (c) A resident of NCT of Delhi/ New Delhi having proof of residency such as Passport,
Voter I-Card, Aadhar/UID Card, Driving Licence, Nationalize Bank’s Passbook . - (d) Competent to contract under the provisions of Contract Act 1872
- (e) Should not be a member of any other society of this nature
Initial and monthly deposits.
New members are required to deposit the following amounts to become a regular member of the Society :-
- (a) Membership Fees Rs. 600/- (One Time Non Refundable)
- (b) Reserve Fund Rs. 400/- (One Time and Refundable)
- (c) Share Money Rs. 500/- (Refundable on leaving the Society)
- (d) Compulsory Deposit Rs. 500/- (To be deposited by 10th of every month)
(Interest on Compulsory Deposit payable annually as per rates decided by the Managing Committee and Divided on Share Money depending upon the profitability of the Society, if any)

Any person intending to be a member of the Society, may contact the Society’s Working office RZ 15/258, Jagdamba Vihar West Sagarpur, New Delhi - 110046 on every 2nd Sunday of every Month along with valid document/ proof of residence & identification and passport size photographs.

Facilities Available
After becoming the member of the society, he/she may (a) earn interest on compulsory deposits (b) earn dividend on Share money, if declared; (c) take loan from the society at nominal rate of interest; (d) be benefited in case of any exigencies in the family and (e) be a part of social/cultural/welfare programs to be carried out from time to time as a part of social objectives of this Cooperative Society.
